“An ounce of preventions is worth a pound of cure.”
I listened to an audio book that said that Ben Franklin was one of the original writers on attitude and self-improvement and it made me think of this quote from him.
An important part of maintaining and keeping a positive attitude is preventing a bad one.
In order to have a positive attitude, you have to hang around in positive environments with positive people. It is going to be a lot harder to cure a negative attitude brought on by a bad environment that it is to prevent one by not entering that environment.
Another important prevention method is spending time reading or listening to positive things every day.
If you build a positive attitude, it will prevent the negative attitude that could arise when things don’t go your way in life.
Think about Ben’s words today. Spend some time today finding your ounce of prevention.
