OUR 2014 END OF YEAR LETTER TO MAVIDEA CLIENTS AND FRIENDS
The end of the year gives us an opportunity to reflect on the past 12 months. And as I sit down to think about this year in review, one word keeps coming to mind: BIG!
The year 2014 has been a year of BIG events at Mavidea. And, of major changes happening inside our business. As a result, I’m humbled by what we’ve learned and what we’ve been blessed with regarding both our clients and our team of Mavideans.
Let’s review some of the BIG events that highlighted our year in 2014.

And in case you think our 2014 life at Mavidea was all sunshine and roses, let me assure you that it was not. Over the past year, we weathered challenges that could have shaken our resolution to succeed.
But I am so thankful for the amazing team we have here at Mavidea and our awesome group of clients, many of whom, we feel fortunate to call friends.
Building in new directions.
Like many of you, I’ve witnessed a lot of businesses this year that are just trying to survive in the dynamics in our local marketplace.
We experienced it too! And yet, thanks to some truly inspiring teamwork, we’ve managed to re-assess our opportunities and hit some balls right out of the park.
Thanks to innovative thinking by our Mavidea team, we now are not only growing -- but also planning a move in 2015! We’re also becoming a much healthier organization than we were a year ago.
Introducing a new Mavidea office in Champaign!
In case you haven’t already heard, we just opened a new Mavidea office in Champaign, Illinois. We’re excited to announce that we are now actively looking for a sales representative in that market.
After a lot of research and time spent in that community, we’ve discovered there’s a tremendous opportunity for Mavidea to support Champaign county and East Central Illinois businesses with web design, Internet marketing and IT management and support.
Our new Mavidea space is located in up-and-coming downtown Champaign Illinois, at 10 E. Main St., Suite 2, across from the News-Gazette offices. Mavidea will look forward to growing our presence in the Champaign-Urbana area with a goal of adding several new employees in that location.
Announcing Mavidea’s new home office and MavAnderson Properties.
We at Mavidea are investing in our future by stepping up to a larger new office, just west of Bloomington. We’re also expanding our business in a whole new direction.
The new direction is the combined vision of the newly formed Mavanderson Properties, a joint initiative of Earl Anderson, founder of Afni, Inc. of Bloomington, IL, and Mavidea Technology Group.
We closed on the 12,000-ft. future home of Mavidea Technology Group on Nov. 14.
Since then, we’ve been working at a feverish pace on the design for our offices. The new facility will house Mavidea and its new sister company, MAXLIDER Motors. MAXLIDER Motors, named after a legacy venture of mine, will focus on classic car sales and restoration.
What’s so exciting about this project is that it will bring to life our dream of a world-class office environment for our staff while serving as a showroom for prospects and clients.
Our goal will be to create a destination property that will make a magnetic impact on anyone who enters. We want people to love spending time with us. The idea is we already have the wow-inspiring people. We just need the great facility to complete the picture.
Leadership learnings and organizational health.
We’ve been working hard to develop a very functional leadership team. And we’ve been focusing on becoming a healthy company instead of just a smart company. Best of all, we're beginning to move at a pace that we’ve never experienced.
We have added a tremendous amount of clarity to our business by establishing our purpose of having fun serving others.
It’s been a two-year journey, but we now have a super-functional leadership team and a tremendous amount of clarity in the way we approach doing business.
We’ve built a team where members can work through healthy conflict – the kind that strengthens relationships inside the group – instead of the kind that causes cracks in the organization that grow bigger and never heal.
Instead of being passionate about getting our own way, we’ve become passionate about helping each other get to a better place – together.
BIG blessings and so much to be thankful for.
As you can see, 2014 has been a year of big happenings at Mavidea. In 2015, and with your help, we’re hopeful to accomplish some more BIG things.
I’m incredibly humbled and blessed that we at Mavidea have been given this opportunity to be stewards of each other’s lives and of the success we have helped our customers achieve within their businesses.
We’re truly grateful for all the relationships and trust that has been shared with us.
We’re dedicated today to becoming even better tomorrow. We’re committed to doing that because it will help us to make an even bigger positive impact on people’s lives, whether client or employee.
