Here’s the deal…it’s time for Mavidea to grow into the Dallas-Forth Worth area and we are looking for a local Outside Sales Representative to make a big splash in this community.  Do you have what it takes?

This is a *hunter* position responsible for new website sales. Let’s be honest, most businesses need a better website, this should be easy, right?

An Outside Sales Representative needs to build strong business relationships based upon trust and providing value. To be successful you need to have the ability to listen to and understand a prospective client’s goals for their website and propose the web-package that best fits their needs.

We are looking for an aggressive self-starter with successful sales experience in the small business marketplace. We also want this person to believe in what we do and why we do it.  Better have a sense of humor and the desire to put others needs before your own!

Job Description:

  • Builds market position by locating, developing, defining business relationships.
  • Identifies and aggressively pursues new business opportunities, prospecting for new leads using a variety of lead generation tools.
  • Drives sustainable growth. Communicates by phone and email with cold call and warm lead sales prospects procured from various sources.
  • Qualifies sales opportunities, sets sales appointments and nurtures existing client relationships.
  • Maintains the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database of client and prospect information.

Responsibilities include: 

As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for the development and closing of new website sales. You will target prospective companies and perform research to develop clients. You will also assist in the completion of client requests for bids and proposals.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Meeting or exceeding quotas
  • Prospecting
  • Identifying and qualifying customers through cold calling
  • Leveraging personal contacts
  • Following up on company generated leads
  • Personally attending network events, conferences and tradeshows to build relationships that will create new business opportunities
  • Building trust and value with partners to develop leads
  • Keeping your leads, opportunities and deals up-to-date with automation tools
  • Pipeline Management
  • Balancing sales activity for prospects to ensure consistent sales performance each month

Job Requirements:

  • Driven self-starter with a proactive approach to serving professionals at all levels in a client-oriented environment
  • Ability to assess good business opportunities and drive them to a successful close
  • Demonstrated networking capabilities among various communities
  • Good written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills
