Our most moving message yet: We’re moving!

Onward and upward. Bigger and better. Mavidea’s beat goes on in a rockin’ new location.

When we first moved into the warm, brick-walled space at 200 W. Monroe St. in Downtown Bloomington, we filled it with dreams. We went from an energetic, young start up to a growing, innovation-based company branching out in new directions.

But now, it’s time for a change. Mavidea Technology Group will be moving to a new headquarters at 14170 Carole Dr. It’s located in a newer commercial park just west of Bloomington, Illinois, just off Rte. 9 and west off I-55.

But before I go on, I’d like to leave one big thank you. It’s one that might inspire ideas about a place to start some new ideas of your own.

Make Mavidea’s space your space!

C’mon. You know you love it. Those down-to-earth brick walls. That feeling of good vibes. The aroma of steaming java from nearby Coffee Hound is always in the air.

It’s an awesome space. We’ve enjoyed every minute here. It’s the kind of place that can inspire a group to think just a bit differently.

We’re incredibly grateful to Tim and Vickie Tilton who have accommodated our business and our growth for 8 years. Thank you so much for generously hosting us.

There’s a lot of Mavidea in this building. We did a lot of the work on our own. Every room could tell a story! If you’re looking for a unique space to accommodate your office, studio or professional services business, you’ll probably want to check out this signature address in a historic, downtown Bloomington location.

We’re SO excited about this! While the move from our downtown site leaves us with feelings of nostalgia, the choice to move to our new Mavidea headquarters is a commitment to our future.

Our goal is to create a destination spot for our renewed vision. We want people to come into our new environment and feel INSPIRED.

To start out, Mavidea will occupy 4,000 square feet of a 12,100 square foot building. The centerpiece is a conference area that will have room for our town hall meetings.

This large gathering space is separated from the break room with an 18-foot glass overhead door. Raising the door will create one large room where we can host larger events.

Our workspaces will be open and transparent to encourage collaboration. Because we also recognize the need for personal privacy, we’ll have an actual phone booth. This will allow people to hold private phone conversations when needed and serve as an interesting conversation piece!

Overall, our facility will have lots of glass and light, along with access to the outdoors. We’ll have a long, 80’ x 10’ porch where we can enjoy outside conferences. We also plan outdoor seating areas. People can take their laptops and work wherever they’re comfortable.

Our new environment will enhance the level of service we’re able to offer to our clients. It will better reflect the personality and identity of our business. We’ve worked hard to build a team that we believe is unique and different. Now, we’ll have a facility that’s equally as magnetic.

We’ll have more information to share with you closer to our move date. With both a new facility and a bright future to look forward to, we can’t wait to show you what’s in store!
