Mavidea's been able to minimize down time just by being proactive. They make sure that our anti-viruses are up to date, server space is up to date, and that everything is being done on a monthly or weekly continual maintenance. Whether it's back up of data or whether it's you know making sure the anti-viruses are working or the network's running the way it should. They do it.
If we have a particular problem they can actually go into our computer at that moment and fix the problem. And show it to us. Or show us how to do something if we have a question about it. So it's been really enlightening working with them.
The biggest benefit to me is the peace of mind. If we have problems, that's where Mavidea comes in. They have the expertise to take care it. It's almost one of those unappreciated things. When there are no problems you don't really know that Mavidea is there. But being an owner I know they are there. Because if they weren't there, I'd be very nervous, everyday.

We had some problems. We needed to get our terminal server up and running immediately. And I wasn't getting anywhere with our previous guy. So I called Jamie. And he had stuff fixed within ten minutes pretty much of me calling. He was on the ball and responded and came out here and took care of stuff without ever having met me or done anything previously with us.

What I like about working with Mavidea is the customer portal where I can go online and submit my own service tickets. And the response time is great. The offsite control where they can remote in and take over our computer and fix half the stuff that we need fixed without them even having to come out here. And the automatic updates and them taking care of those at night is the biggest time saver for me. Because I do all the accounting and I'm basically the IT person in house too. So I don't have a lot of time to go around to each computer and do the updates. So Mavidea taking care of those has been wonderful.

Having Mavidea manage all of our technology saves me a tremendous amount of time. They anticipate the problems. Their monitoring systems have taken a huge load off of my responsibilities. Down from the biggest server problems to just individual computer maintenance. They take care of it. And it's increased internal efficiency a tremendous amount.
They are reliable, have competitive pricing, and are knowledgeable. And for a small business it's perfect. We are not ready to have a full time IT person and so they provide that service. So it's like an internal IT person. Basically they offer everything that we could possibly need as a small business.
Regarding our server migration, I expected more problems. I expected more down time. None of that happened. We were able to make a seamless transition. So we're very happy with it.
