College Hills Meat Shop’s website was outdated, the homepage was an image instead of text, and they were not able to put any of their specials on the homepage.
Beyond that, their old website chmeatshop.com was still running and competing with their current site. This caused a lot of confusion for customers since the chmeatshop.com listed old prices & specials.
Before
We created them a new website that let them update their weekly specials and coupons on their own (and shows them in an awesome format). They also have a true blog for their recipes and tips, which lets them cross-link things on facebook and pinterest to get the social media juices going.
After
To visually show the basic meat products that College Hills provides we created roll-over images of a pig and cow. This educates visitors on what type of cuts are available from each part of the animal.
To handle their old chmeatshop.com site we wrangled the domain from SuperPages and got it in College Hill’s hands. The domain now redirects to their main website, so there will be no more confusion.
